Prayer by Ms. Claudia Marcinak, Social Studies Department
By now most of us have figured out that life is not free of challenges. Difficulties and even tragedies are to be expected. Whenever you face a storm, your first urge may be to scream, “Why, Why me?” Many of these occur through no fault of our own. I, too, have faced these storms in life. Some were mild showers, but some were cataclysmic storms. In facing these I have learned that these can often create blessings in disguise. We gain strength we never knew we had, doors may be opened for us that we never dreamed of, and most of all these often bring us closer in our relationship with God.
Let us pray,
Dear God, We pray today that when we face difficulties in our lives, you will help us face them with courage and grace. Through these times we pray to act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly knowing that you are with us.
Mary, Seat of Wisdom, Pray for Us.
